1965 Shelby GT 350 SFM5010 in Our Private Collection

1965 Shelby GT 350 SFM5010

SFM5010 is a fully documented original Shelby American Advanced Prototype used to develop the '65 GT-350. #10's unique tail-lights, side brake ducts, and Supercharger were used to develop future Shelby model features, which are fully documented. After a brilliant career as a factory R&D car, #10 was sold to the public through Shelby American's own dealership, High Performance Motors. The car was driven by actor James Caan, in the movie "Red Line 7000". SFM5010 has 48,800 original miles and other than a mechanical restoration in the late 1980's and a fresh paint job at the same time, it is completely original and amazingly well preserved. It retains every piece of original sheetmetal as well as its original matching numbers drive train and engine. The underbody is untouched and immaculate, with factory primers and overspray. #10 has never experienced and rust or sheetmetal damage and is arguably the finest and most significant GT-350 in existence.
